This recipe was adapted from one I found on http://www.allrecipes.com/
1 (12 ounce) package of bow tie pasta
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 pound Italian sausage (casings removed and crumbled)
1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
1/2 cup diced green onion
3 garlic cloves, minced
1 (28 ounce) can diced tomatoes
1 1/2 light whipping cream
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon parsley
Heat oil in a deep skillet over medium heat. Cook sausage and pepper flakes until the sausage is evenly brown.
Meanwhile, bring a large pot of water to a boil.
Stir in onion and garlic. Cook until onion is tender.
Cook pasta in boiling water for 8 to 10 minutes or until al dente.
Stir in tomatoes, cream and salt. Simmer until mixture thickens, 8 to 10 minutes.
Prep time: 15 minutes Cook time: 30 minutes. Ready In: 45 minutes. Serves: 6
